Welcome to our piece of heaven on earth! With or without horses, you will enjoy the hospitality, tranquility, seclusion, facilities, outdoor activities and shade at Palmerosa Horse Campgrounds. Our staff is dedicated to providing you with courteous service, in a timely, friendly manner. In fact, that's what keeps our guests coming back to us year after year.
While at Palmerosa - Hocking Hills horse campground, you can stay at your campsites or in one of our Hocking Hills cabin for a romantic get-away (perfect for newly-weds), meet new friends or renew old friendships. Palmerosa has sufficient facilities to hold meetings, reunions, special events or organized events for riding clubs. Whether on horseback, hiking, riding bikes, or traveling in a car, you will enjoy the best of what Hocking Hills has to offer. You can shop at one of the many gift, craft and antique shops; fish or swim at Lake Logan , kayak/canoe peaceful drifting down the river, spend the day at the pool at the Lodge in the Hocking State Forest, or go golfing.
Since we are located next to Hocking Hills State Forest, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful and unique sites that can be reached only on horseback or on foot. There are over 50 miles of scenic horse trails, with each trail well-marked. You can ride by waterfalls, box canyons, deep gorges, caves, rock formations, giant hemlocks, and beautiful wildflowers.
